Our First term in 5th Class

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first term in 5th class. We have been extremely busy with visits to the CBS for science experiments and lessons from Charlotte from Elavon as part of the Junior Achievement Programme.  We had great fun before the Halloween break taking part in a class talent show where we displayed our skills in singing, gymnastics, dance and football. We have had special coaches in for agility and GAA throughout the year so far which the children have enjoyed. We attended ‘All Shook up’ in St. Mary’s, which was very entertaining. We’ve skyped an Ocean expert who is trying to prevent further damage to our coral reefs around the world. SeaLife kindly gave us some fish to look after for a weeks and we were very good parents to them. Our trip to SeaLife was also very informative and interesting. We have created numerous artistic pieces and researched and presented brilliant projects. We are currently practising for our Christmas show which is a culmination of songs, poems and dramas.
